The futuristic concept Serenity [artefactgroup.com] developed by product design company Artefact consists of a collection of e-ink tablet devices that offer an information-driven view on the different aspects of a home environment.

The different displays present different environmental data variables, such as the current temperature, lighting, sound, energy consumption, device status, location, and airflow, in a rather elegant way. The visual experience presents data values, menus, and controls as art that seem to be more natural fit in a modern living environment than the typical small electronic screens of today.
